History:

The Cobra’s Fang is a classic vintage tiki cocktail created by Donn Beach, also known as Don the Beachcomber. The cocktail features a blend of rums, fassionola and falernum syrups, fresh orange and lime juices, bitters, and grenadine.

The recipe featured in Hawai‘i: Tropical Rum Drinks & Cuisine by Don the Beachcomber calls for the drink to be garnished with fresh mint and a lime wheel. For added visual appeal, some Cobra-themed cocktails are garnished with a spiral-cut lime peel designed to resemble a snake.
